Daniele Falangone was born in Italy where he studied classical piano and composition, jazz and singing techniques since the age of 6.

His interest and experience in various music genres, from classical to jazz music, gospel, pop, rock and electronic, let him gain a great ability to compose a large variety of music, orchestral, electronic, classical and modern, and a great skill to mix the various genres.        

Daniele’s composition style, caught the attention of Warner Chappell Music Italy, which proposed several collaborations to him. He moved to Rome, in his early twenties, where he began his career in the film industry, as a soundtrack composer and orchestrator/arranger for cinema movies, tv series and trailers. Held in high regard by lots of film directors, producers, music publishers, musicians, other composers, soundtracks magazines, IFMCA (International Film Music Critics Association) reviewers.

Daniele moved to London in 2013, where he is currently based, because of his constant need to explore and find new ways of expression through music. Daniele approached the musical theatre, arranging and producing the songs and music for two musicals, Casanova and Dorian Gray, composed by Daniele Martini and produced by the avant-garde fashion designer Pierre Cardin, and performed in Europe, Russia and Eastern Countries.

It was during the production of the musical Casanova, that Daniele met for the first time the singer Matteo Setti, who was starring the character of Casanova. Matteo and Daniele had already a strong music affinity when they first worked together. That was the beginning of a long collaboration. Together they explored different music styles. It was when they started approaching the swing that things turned to be more and more interesting. They both landed in the USA where they collaborated with some of the top musicians in the world. They recorded an album, Italian Factor, a collection of Italian and English hits re-arranged by Daniele in a swing style for vocal and Big Band orchestra, plus an original song, My world is burning, composed by Daniele and beautifully performed by Matteo.

Daniele performed as musical director at the famed New York’s Birdland Jazz Club, the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, the California Theatre in San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and many other prestigious venues in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Venice, Dubai, Rome, Houston, Miami (Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts) etc.

Daniele regularly collaborates with the leading music publishers, composing and producing a rich catalogue of music.

Daniele created his new artistic project LYIFE, experimenting and creating new sonorities. Music and lyrics inspired by a self-discovery journey, as a way to  find your real self and to inspire a genuine and healthier connection with everything and everyone around us, for a better life in harmony with the whole Creation.
